On July 17 an elite group of girls from all over Maine took their unique field hockey stick skills to the annual Cape Cod Classic in South Yarmouth, Mass.
Coach Randy Richardson took a group of girls who had never played together and united them as a team.

The team ended the first two games with shutouts, a 1-0 win against Mass. Public and a tie against Cape Cod. They had a disappointing 3-0 third game loss to Vermont. On Sunday they had a hard fought loss to a Connecticut team In their quarterfinal match 2 to 1.

This group of girls loves the game of field hockey above all else. The center to their weekend was playing as a team and supporting each other.
