The game was scheduled for 2:20 originally, but the winter storm warning resulted in the game being moved to 9 a.m. at the Midcoast Recreation Center. A little storm was not going to stop hockey as both teams came ready to play. The game was played by what looked like two fairly equal teams who both are fast, quick and hard hitting. The varsity...

Patriots tame the Lions 34-9

November 23, 2014

Tom Brady had another big day, completing 38 of 53 for 349 yards, two touchdowns, and one pick. Matthew Stafford struggled completing 18 of 46 for just 264 yards and one interception. Why did Brady put up bigger numbers then Stafford? Because almost every pass Brady threw, his reliable receivers hung on to. As for Stafford’s receivers, they repeatedly let Stafford down, by dropping eight passes, or running bad routes. The Patriots secondary coverage was pretty good too. The Lions secondary had no answers for Julian Edelman. Edelman got open all afternoon, catching 11 passes for 89 yards. Brandon...
